Boris Miniala, who served as Director of Sales and Operations at Metro in Turkey between August 2011 and November 2014, has been appointed as General Manager of Turkey.
According to information provided by the Retail Turkey’s private resources, Kubilay Ozerkan, who is in charge of as an “Operating Partner” in Turkey and Italy is going to take part in the Global Executive Committee of Metro Wholesalers Market, and Boris Minialai will replace him.

For the first time in the Metro world, a senior Turkish executive is serving on the international executive committee. Ozerkan, with his new tasks, will carry Metro Turkey to the vision to invest in the future of Turkish cuisine to the global arena. Since 1997, Kubilay Ozerkan has assumed different positions within the Metro Group and started his new duty as of April 13, 2018.
The biggest factors for his being nominated are: Metro Cash & Carry Turkey’s stable growth, its having contributions to the gastronomy and Turkey’s standing out as a successful model of leadership.
